Time’s Flying
Hardly feels like the 1st quarter of ‘09 is already up. Every weekend seems to be packed and every week is getting busier. Whether it’s a last minute trip or a last minute meeting everything somehow fits in. Watching your own capacity and the capacity of everyone around you grow everyday is a wonderful and precious thing.
Today I actually thought I would be in the office most the day and get some work done - yeah right. A morning shoot followed followed by a last minute research session for a meeting later this afternoon was all it took to throw things out of whack. A few moments of calm allowed me to get some work done then lunch was upon us and Izzos called. We answered. In the creative team mystery machine courtesy of one Mr. Dup. The afternoon meeting successfully ate up the last few hours of the day as we discussed the rather large issue of projection and used big hyphenated words like foot-Lamberts. Ah what a day. A quick stop in the land of Photoshop and we’ve got some decent slides for Kingdom Builders breakfast tomorrow. That’s was just today.
Unfortunately we were unable to demo jet packs today. A real shame there.
No commentsLA the City
Sitting at the LA airport waiting for my flighht back to NOLA. Spent yesterday with Peter from Plain Joe Studios. Had a great time hearing and seeing what they do. Looking forward to see this relationship develop further. Got the chance to check out a bunch of cool churches in the area. It’s amazing to see so many different parts of the body of Christ all doing their part. Seeing the big picture brings perspective and only happens when you are able take a step back from your little world. I enjoy the opportunity to get to experience the things I do.
No commentsCanada is Warm
Saw this a couple days ago and thought it was witty. Since we’re celebrating Independence Day today I thought it only fitting to give a shout out to the country that keeps our head warm. There is nothing like a hat in cold weather.

Second Best Job at Submerge
It’s true! Jordan had the best 2 jobs at Submerge. This job involved standing in roughly one spot so that James could aim the lights. Many others have held this job in the past myself included. However, until you’ve been Wendell’s light aiming prop you really haven’t experienced all that this job can be.
No commentsMost impressive video you’ll see today
I don’t know how some people get to be this talented or have this much time on their hands but hey it looks really really cool. Makes me want to find this person and shake their hand and then slap them with it because I’m so jealous. Oh well back to my finger painting.
